Starting over( life after daddy's departure, the transition process)

CHAPTER 1
Its been a month since I lost my dad to a car accident, its still hard for me to accept he is gone. I dont think I have ever felt so much pain in my life, at this point it feels like everything is at a stand still. People think because you are at work doing  things that means you are ok, someone recently asked me if I had gotten over my dad's death.   I didnt know whether to get angry or just stay silent, its not something you get over but something you learn to live with.  I miss him everyday of my life and it gets worse as the days go by, I pray that someday I will find the solace I seek so desperately.

CHAPTER 2
After daddy's burial I thought maybe things would get better and the pain would be easier to deal with, found out reverse is the case.
With every passing moment I feel his absence, everywhere I turn I see him walking towards me.
My friend (who lost her dad last year )says this is the time you will remember where he would usually be at any given time, this is so true.
I know the exact times he goes for his stroll around the house, the exact time he reads in his study, the exact time he goes into the room to watch CNN.

I recently put my foot into one of his shoes and the feeling of sadness and loss was so overwhelming and then the tears started to flow.
Its a sad thing when you know that is the closest you would ever get to that person forever.

This may sound weird but sometimes I smell his clothes just to inhale his scent it makes me feel closer to him, I wish I had more to remember him by other than just pictures.
I so long to hear his voice, sometimes I fear as the years go by I would forget what his voice sounds like
I get really sad thinking of all the moments he is going to miss
Me getting my first real job and helping out with the bills
Him walking me down the aisle on my wedding day (never in my life did I ever think or imagine my brother would be the one walking me down the aisle)
The birth of my first child (my childhood were my best moments, I was looking forward to re-living those moments through my children. Daddy would have made the best grandpa ever, he loved kids and in return they loved him)

I went home last week to kyado (with my mother and brothers) to visit daddy's grave, I wanted to see his resting place for the first time without the circus(burial ceremony).
At first I didnt feel a thing just numbness,I don't know if this is normal or strange.
It was later that night that the the tears came, everything had just changed
normally when daddy came home alot of people came around to say hello now the whole place was just quite almost like a grave yard.
I cried myself to sleep it was just too painful to be back home and feel empty instead of having that sense of  peace and belonging .

Steps to fabulous gorgeous hair

Back in the day I used to watch Beyonce and Tyra on TV and think "how the hell did they get their hair to look like that" it has been a mystery for years but changing times has opened our eyes now we all know the secret to that bouncy glossy gorgeous hair, virgin hair is the weave that every girl wants to own though it is a bit pricey but I think it is worth every cent. Ever since I got my first hair piece I must confess I have overly become obsessed with all kinds of human hair long, short curly, wavy, straight I just want to have them all. OK back to why I decided to write about hair, loads of people ask me the reason why my own weave looks so nice and bouncy I don't mean to brag but my hair always looks nice and believe me it needs dedication and care. I am not complaining because I love taking care of my hair and I don't care how long it takes. Finding the right products for your hair is all about trial and error, I have tried different hair products on my hair and different grooming routines some I discovered and some I got from friends.
These are the ones that have worked for me.

Steps to gorgeous fabulous hair

wash and condition your hair twice a week (I recommend loreal elvive nutri-gloss shampoo and conditioner).
after washing off the shampoo put conditioner in your hair, leave in conditioner for a minimum of 30 minutes.
For better results you can give the hair a steaming treatment by putting it in a dryer (for about 20 minutes).
after washing your hair you apply the John Frieda frizz ease serum (the best serum on the market, none like it I can testify that) before or after blow drying.
To give your hair bounce and curls you can put roller benders in your hair over night or use tongs, with tongs make sure it isn't too hot excessive heat could spoil your weave.
To give your hair shine apply the serum twice a week once would be preferable if the weather isn't too dry.
I almost forgot about one of the most important items for human hair care; for brushing your weave always use a paddle brush, a strong brush could make the hair shed tremendously.
I hope these tips help.

I call this pic goldilocks lol, yeah i know my hair is not blond but my locks are pure gold to me

The perfect silhouette

"Underneath your clothes there’s a different story" the famous lyrics from shakira’s song is a phrase that most of us women should be able to relate to.   Every woman dreams of having the perfect silhouette for that killer dress, and as much as we are all unique in our own way, the honest truth is that not all of us are blessed with perfect bodies like super models Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen to pull it off.  Getting that body would take a lot of hard work, the dieting and exercising which I am 100 percent sure that a lot of us find extremely hard and would rather  just ignore.  But not to worry where there is a will; there would always be a way….. (Drum roll)  Ladies shape wear has come to the rescue - Women everywhere bless the day the shape wear was invented.
Through the ages, from the early A.D.’s (notice the rhyme?) women have gone through a lot of extensive measures to diminish features to create the perfect silhouette. The first type of shape wear, the corset, came into existence in the Elizabethan era. The corset was a device used to flatten the chest and accentuate the waist. The corsets of the Victorian era placed more emphasis on the waste to create the illusion of the hips.  In the 1900’s  the corsets gave way  for the material latex which  was used to create girdles that put less emphasis on the waist and fits closely to the hips and derriere.    The girdle is an undergarment made of elastic that gives women that smooth silhouette.  Girdles today usually consist of one material alone or a combination of Lycra, Spandex, and Powernet, it comes in different type’s light, medium and strong compression; the strong compression types do more defining and contouring.
More inventions of the shape wear are in the market now, you can now find types that can make your boobs look bigger, create curves for a boyish figure, shape derriere even make it look bigger and shape legs and thighs. Most Hollywood stars if not all’s secret for looking red carpet hot are a result of good shape wear.    Yes!  Hollywood stars are just like the rest of us, not quite but you know what I mean they need some tucking and smoothing here and there too. Most of us wonder how stars get their figures back a month after having their babies, well the secret is now out and it is definitely a trend that is here to stay because every woman’s quest is to feel beautiful and look darn good.

The boyish figure was the  trend in the elizabethan era , the corsets/ shape wear were designed to flatten the chest and accentuate the waist with heavy compression fabric and materials

the corset/shape wear of the victorian era emphasised and favoured the female figure more than the previous model. it  gives a woman the "S" form with derriere out and bust out cinching the waist.

From the early 1930's till lighter fabrics such as lycra, spandex e.t.c where used to make shape wear

Hollywood stars Jessica Alba and Halle Berry are huge fans of spanx underwear see how fabulous they look just few months after having babies. It's not an unknown phenomenon anymore we now know their secrets wink wink ....

shapewear  solutions for problem  areas.
The waist cincher is the most universal of shapewears, it focuses on more than just one problem area.
The boyish figure:  women with boyish figures are very conscious about their straight frame  and  shy away from wearing  body fitting clothing.;the waist cincher  takes inches of your waist and creates that desired hour glass figure.

The belly:  the most common body problem which is so hard to get rid off several stressful gym sessions  take a darn long time for  visible  changes; the waist cincher gives you an instant tummy tuck and gives you that upright posture.
